The Walla Walla Police Foundation is a registered corporation with the State of Washington. All monies raised by the Walla Walla Police Foundation are dedicated to our mission of professional development and community partnership.

Safer Community

Our mission is to support a safer community by consistently identifying and securing public and private contributions which will be used to supplement funding for selected education, training, special equipment and pertinent programs for the Walla Walla Police Department and the community!

An officer was recently dispatched to the theft of a pull behind wagon. During the investigation the officer learned that the woman didn’t have transportation, and relied on the wagon to get groceries home from the store. With the help and generosity of many amazing supporters, the Walla Walla Police Foundation has raised $20,000 to fund the Police K9! K9 Farel (10 years old) has turned in his retirement papers, and looks forward to living out his years with his best friend, and his current K9 handler. A Walla Walla Police Officer contacted a subject during a traffic stop who was driving a vehicle with a suspended operators license. Utilizing community care funds, the officer made arrangements with the driver to purchase a bus pass so they had transportation while waiting for their driver's license to be reinstated. ...
